Complementary activity to the basic visit. The shepherd from Alforja, Dani Giraldo, offers a workshop on making fresh cheeses using freshly milked goat’s milk from the very same morning.

Not only is the technique of cheese making explained, but throughout the process he also shares the project of recovering the traditional herding paths, the meaning behind cheese making, and as the different textures and curds appear in the pot, he draws a visual parallel with the landscape surrounding the Mas del Botó winery.

The experience ends, as it could not be otherwise, with a tasting of the freshly made cheeses and matured cheeses paired with wines from the Mas del Botó winery.
